David udforsker forholdet mellem æstetik og funktion – og trækker klar inspiration fra de danske møbelmestre. Med vitrineskabet Ophelia 01 arbejder han med spinkle dimensioner og lader glasset være en styrke frem for en skrøbelighed.
In his small workshop in Elsinore, David Pepke designs and builds his furniture from the standpoint of simplicity. David explores the relationship between aesthetics and function – with a clear line of inspiration from the Danish Midcentury Masters. With the wall display Ophelia 01, he is working with delicate dimensions and lets the glass panels lend strength to the piece instead of making it fragile.
